It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to Almonte in the heart of Mississippi Mills. The Puppets Up International Puppet Festival has been delighting audiences for 6 years now and this seventh season will be no exception.

Troupes from around the world will delight and entertain your family on the beautiful streets of downtown Almonte and we couldn’t be happier. Here in Mississippi Mills we love puppets so much the Town created our own – Miss Mills – and if you look carefully you just might run into her downtown this August 6th and 7th.

As the new Mayor I am excited to be a part of this magical, family festival and extend a warm wish to you and your family to help us celebrate nature and, of course, all things puppet, at this year’s festival.
